I was in room 801 January 17-19 my room didn’t have no heat I reach out to the front office had maintenance come to my room but didn’t speak English. He tried to fix the problem. The problem was unfixable after he left. The manager told me they were prorate my hotel room never received a discount. I paid 1200 for my hotel room for two days without nothing included as far as parking as far as food. No one barely speak English. I was the only black person there and everyone was looking at me weird like I didn’t belong, even though I paid the same amount as though to be at the same hotel to be treated so unfairly.
Beautiful place to spend vacations. Mohamed's attention when you first arrive at the building to get situated is Excellent. All very nice. We will recommend it to our friends.
Terrible attention, they mistreat you everywhere, the valet parking, the lounge chairs on the beach are a disaster, the reception is very bad, I saw how they mistreated all the guests, a complete disaster
The view and room are nice but the hotel service and the elevator is really not good. We are staying 9 days in the building and every 1/2 days our keys don’t work and we have to be in line every time with two kids to update the keys. The elevator just one for all building and we always wait for it forever, just incredible how many time we are spending to get in and out of our room . And how many time we have to spend for the keys !
I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past, but this year was incredibly disappointing, and I won’t be returning. For such an expensive place, the experience was far below expectations.First, the elevators are a NIGHTMARE. They take an absurd amount of time, and when you’re on vacation, you don’t want to spend hours every day just waiting to get to and from your room. If you plan on coming here, make sure you set aside the HOURS you will waste waiting for the elevators every day. The place is way too crowded. It’s frustrating and honestly unacceptable for a hotel in this price range.The bar always includes as 20% tip on your check even if you are only buying ONE beer. I have no problem tipping but to me that is outrageous. That may be why the service is so bad, because they know they will get a good tip no matter what.The pool situation is another major issue. The pool closes at 9PM, but they insist you return the hotel towels by 6 PM SHARP. Not only is this inconvenient, but the staff literally harass you about it, interrupting your time at the pool until you comply. We asked if we could return them later because we were having a good time and wanted to stay at the pool longer but the guard literally would not leave our side until we returned the towels, he even threatened to call the police. It made us extremely uncomfortable and it complete ruined the relaxing vibe. The staff is extremely rude and there is a huge language barrier.The requirement to wear bracelets is understandable for safety reasons, but again, the way the staff handle it feels excessive and rude. They’re constantly checking and harassing guests about wearing them, which makes the whole experience feel unwelcoming and overly controlled.I also spoke with several other guests who were equally dissatisfied, and many of them said they won’t be coming back either. This used to be a place I enjoyed, but the poor service and constant hassles made it anything but relaxing.For the price they charge, I expected so much more. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and stressed. I can’t recommend this place anymore.
Hotel staff were wonderful! They couldn't do enough for us. Crystal at the front desk was professional, kind and quick to assist. Nadine was also wonderful and helpful and so was Melvin. It means a lot when you go to big resorts and the staff are responsive. Any questions we had and requests were handled quickly. Gene at security always had a smile on his face. The resort is clean and you feel you are in a special place. Great value for money. Rooms were fully equipped and housekeeping quick to replenish supplies if needed. Great stay I will definitely return!
The staff was incredible...views spectacular, rooms and bathrooms spacious and very comfortable. We loved every moment of our weekend. It is not like a full service hotel where your room is made up everyday but linen/towels were readily available. My only negative comment is that the balcony furniture needed to be changed as they were all unraveling...this was not a deal breaker as they were still very comfortable. It was a memorable stay.
Vacationed here with one of my good friends for the week. We booked through Airbnb so our room was amazing and the view couldn’t be better. Location of hotel is great, everything is easily accessible. The lack of 5 stars pertains to the hotel establishment itself. The hotel offers a seemly nice pool area with tons of space but while we were trying to relax on multiple occasions, they had power tools and construction going on in the middle of the day. I understand if they are doing upgrades or trying to fix something but for someone who is on vacation specifically to unwind and relax this wasn’t ideal. Also, this hotel is very family oriented. I myself don’t mind being around children and or families but it can be very noisy if you are trying to find some peace and quiet just lounging by the pool. Food is decent, but the poolside drinks are very overpriced. My friend and I ordered two drinks from the bar, each were $20 a piece and I also ordered a shrimp cocktail that was good but also $28. On top of that there was a 20% service charge, which I am totally fine paying as myself am in the restaurant industry but for the few things we ordered and with the charge our bill was over $80. We were enjoying ourselves so it wasn’t an issue but that price for the quality just didn’t add up. Despite the few cons, I would still consider staying here again.
